Philip Lew
As CEO, Mr. Lew guides XBO in its overall strategy, operations, and business development. Previously, Mr. Lew worked at a large IT services provider as their Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President.
Previously, Mr. Lew founded Pulse Technologies, Inc., a leader in contact center systems integration in Chantilly, VA. As the company's President, Mr. Lew managed the overall growth and operations of the company. In 1996, Pulse Technologies and its proprietary call center data warehousing software called soEZ were sold to EIS International (a public company listed on NASDAQ), a nationwide leader in contact center management systems. Mr. Lew served as Senior Vice President-Systems Integration Services at EIS following the acquisition and then went to the Netherlands, where he managed product development at TeleDynamics, a telecommunications software product company.
Mr. Lew is an Adjunct Professor at Alaska Pacific University and Project Management College teaching graduate courses in software engineering, software quality assurance, IT project management, and IT Governance. Mr. Lew is a certified PMP.
Mr. Lew has presented at several conferences including ICWE09-10-11, CTI Expo, and EuroForum on contact center technology and web application usability, user experience, and quality evaluation. He has been published in Project Management Technology, Network World, Telecommunications Magazine, Call Center Magazine, TeleProfessional, and DataPro Research Reports. He received his B.S. and Master of Engineering degrees in Operations Research from Cornell University and his Ph.D. from Beihang University where his research area focused on software usability and quality evaluation. His research is currently focused on measuring user experience.
Jan Princen
As Managing Director, Jan Princen is responsible for the development and implementation of XBOSoft’s Software Quality Improvement services in the US and Europe.
Mr. Princen brings valuable entrepreneurial experience and expertise having successfully started and sold several Internet related companies, including Ziemeer, a Dutch interactive media company. Most recently, he served as Chairman of BMBO, a specialized outsourcing service that delivers high-end ICT products and services.
He serves on the board of boutique investment firm Intobeta, as well as and IJOtechnologies, a JAVA development company. He is also an advisor of IRLgalaxy, an award winning company that builds location based online communities; and serves as board member of charity foundation http://www.stichtingbijvoorbeeldponckeprincen.nl.
Jan Princen has published several articles and is an acknowledged speaker on software quality improvement and holds a Masters degree from the University of Maastricht.
Steve Gohres
As Vice President of Business Strategy, Steve brings to XBOSoft considerable experience in business and marketing. He served as a VP of Marketing for 4 years at Computer Associates, where he co-founded the consumer business unit which boosted the expansion of the CA footprint in web-based sales, driving distribution of security software to the home and small office markets. Under Steve's stewardship, the stand-alone start-up division added over 300,000 new subscribers and $5 million revenue per year. An engineer by training, Steve provides a rare combination of management expertise, international project experience and technology. Steve's experience in the oil industry includes both technical and management roles for UOP as Chief Process Engineer, Sales Manager, and Business Development Director in Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern, and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
Hakon Hanisch
As sales director for Scandinavia, Hakon Pharo Hanisch contributes with knowledge about business culture and languages in Spain and Latin American as well as the Scandinavian markets. Most recently Hakon has been a project leader working with organizing JavaZone and Norwegian Developers Conference, two big developers' conferences in Norway.
Hakon has an MBA from the University of Chile and Bachelor in export marketing from the Norwegian School of Management. He has lived and worked in Norway, Spain and Chile.
