Test Process Improvement (TPI)

Today, software testing must go above and beyond finding defects at the end of the development cycle. Now considered a critical component of the entire development cycle, XBOSoft works with clients to improve the entire software testing process with a proven methodology known as TPI or Test Process Improvement, which ultimately leads to less defects in production and higher productivity during the entire test process.

Integral to TPI, we apply process engineering to assess and evaluate testing maturity; decomposed into 16 Key areas. Some of the critical evaluation areas include:

Using a test maturity matrix, each key testing area is assessed and evaluated according to 8-11 checkpoints to determine test maturity: Initial, Controlled, Efficient, or Optimized; and then combined with a plan to improve the overall test process quality.
