Web Application Testing Steps
XBO's web application testing services cover Functionality testing, Usability testing, Interface testing, Compatibility testing, Performance testing, and Security testing.
5) Performance testing: Includes Web Load Testing and Web Stress Testing and evaluation of the application performance at different internet connection speeds.
- Web load testing:
- Test for maximum users accessing or requesting the same feature or function.
- Evaluate if system can sustain in peak loads for sustained periods.
- Test application's ability to handle many simultaneous user requests, large input data from users or large data output streams.
- Confirm ability to maintain simultaneous connection to DB under heavy loads on specific pages.
- Stress testing:
- Generally stress means stretching the system beyond its specification limits. Web stress testing is performed to break the application by giving stress and determining how the system reacts and recovers.
- Stress test input fields, login, sign up areas and other major user scenarios.
- Check for software, hardware memory leakage errors.
